Master's in Cognitive Neuroscience

I have spent five years of study in the multidisciplinary field of NBIC technologies convergance following my academic career. I've developed a particular interest in the Social Psychology and Qualitative Research. I would love to advance my understanding of qualitative research further, through PhD study with an expert at a remarkable institution. Subjects that concern me most are Mental Health, Emotions and Social/Cultural Anthropology.

• Exploring cognitive control mechanisms during emotion perception and reward processing
• Studying interplay of emotions and attentional breadth by using Navon's task
• Used PsychoPy to create behavioural and scanner tasks
• Duties still evolving but will include aspects of fMRI including scanning and image data analysis

Master's Thesis Student (Dr Ark Verma)

• Compared different models of lateralization during perception of emotions, using visual half field studies
• Created pilot lexical proficiency tests in Devanagari (Hindi)
• Optimized the experiment for Hindi - English eye tracking corpus
